My resources for seat cushion reviews

Hey guys it’s Mark Randolph here. Just want to clue you in to a couple of great resources for seat cushion reviews – the first is seatcushionreviews.com. This is a really useful site because it has a handy comparison chart that compares different types of seat cushions and gives you a real sense of what’s available on the market. When I was looking for a cushion for my wheelchair, this was my first stop and the resources on this page, including all of the different reviews, was essential in helping me to find what I was looking for.

(While I’m on topic, here’s another great video about wheelchair seat cushions.)

The next great resource that I found was Medicare.gov, which is a site that allows you to look for supplies and products online. It really let’s you find some great deals if you’re looking for products related to wheelchairs and rehabilitation. This was my second stop and I felt that it was a really great resource, which is even stronger because it is backed by the government, which is a source you can always trust.

Another great resource for seat cushion information was TSA.Gov. This website is really useful if you are thinking about traveling and need to consider which cushion is the best resource for you in the event that you are flying to different countries. I recently traveled to Panama, and I wanted to know what seat cushion to bring along with me. This website provides a lot of detail around the types of items that are allowed to be transported across national boundaries.

And one last video displaying the benefits of seat pads for mobility devices:

I hope that these resources are useful for you as you are out looking for seat cushions. I did a lot of research to collect this information so you really should appreciate it and check out the websites that I listed because it will definitely help you out.

With that said, I wanted to share the feedback that I’ve received so far. It’s really encouraging to get great responses from my writing and content. Emily from Wisconsin wrote me to say that she was encouraged by my optimism and the spirit that I evidenced in all of my posts and writing.

She also said that way that I approach life and my focus on providing comfort to others through seat cushion reviews helps her and others who are in similar situations. It’s been a benefit to her, her family, and the community at large of which she is part that sometimes feels neglected or ignored by the media and, yes, sometimes the government itself.

That’s it for now guys. You should check out the links and leave comments below and I’ll definitely get back to you. Peace!

Comfort and mobility – alright?

Alright, dude, this is my first real post after my first funny post.

Just wanted to say that I’ve been in a wheelchair for 10 years now and it sucks but there are some things you can do to make your daily life more enjoyable and comfortable. One of the things I found it really helps is using a gel seat cushion.

Now, a cushion like this really save you some grief because it provides a really comfortable support no matter the medical condition that you have, or reason that you’re in a wheelchair. I’ve tried using foam and air cushions, but what’s really worked for me, and I had a very active lifestyle, is using a gel cushion, specifically the wonder gel seat cushion.

Now this gets to the purpose of my blog, which is really honing in on tips, strategies, tactics and other means you can consider using in your own life if you’re in a wheelchair or otherwise immobilized. I’ve done a lot of research on this stuff so I just want to digest it all for you and spit it back out with the realness’ so that you can get moving in your own life, accept the situation you’re in and just move ahead with more prosperous future. To that end, here are some great resources that I found that can help you in your own life.

The first is a governmental resource (http://www.medicare.gov/coverage/wheelchairs.html), which really provides all the information that you’ll need if you are in a wheelchair and you just need some insurance support.

The second is Bed Bath and Beyond – they’ve got a great page to help you get a seat cushion for your wheelchair: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/1/3/seat-cushions

The third is the the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology – they do awesome research on wheelchairs.

And, just want to say that if anybody has any comments or questions feel free to post them here below. I’m always around checking my blog so I’ll definitely be able to respond quickly. My next several posts I’ll be writing about toilet seat cushions, lumbar support pillows, and other devices that will make your life much more comfortable.

Peace!

How you doin’, world?

Just thought I’d introduce myself with this funny inspirational video that I found on YouTube. It’s all about how living in a wheelchair doesn’t define you as an individual and I thought it be a great way to introduce myself to the community of Internet users at large.

Also just a heads up I will be discussing a lot of different issues on this blog, specifically issues regarding mobility and how to live comfortably on a day-to-day basis in a wheelchair, specifically how to find great seat cushions that you could use with any wheelchair that you’re in whether they be gel, air, or foam.

All that said, peace out! If you want to get to know me a little bit better just shoot me an email you can see that information on my contact page.
